CABINS FOR RENT IN NORTHWEST MICHIGAN
The vacation getaway for Families - Fishermen - Golfers ...

Located approximately 15 miles northwest of Traverse City on the southwest end of Lake Leelanau, lies one of Michigan's best-kept secrets of vacation destinations.

Accommodating groups of 2 to 11 with almost-original or modern-day rustic amenities are nine, privately-owned log cabins sitting along 450 feet of tree-lined shoreline - each with a view of sparkling Lake Leelanau!

For over 45 years Leelanau's Rustic Resort has been welcoming guests to this 'Land of Delight' - where there's something for everyone ... from swimming, fishing, golfing, site seeing, wine tasting, dune climbing, and a whole lot more!

The lake is clean and clear, with our large swimming area possessing a sandy (not mushy) bottom.  (The water depth at the end of our 168' dock is approximately 5 to 6 feet deep.)

And the fishing?  Well there's Bass, Walleye, Perch, Pike and more ... not to mention that we have a fish house with utensils for preparing your catch for the dinner table.  (Need a fishing license?  No problem ... they can be purchased at the local hardware/bait-tackle store in Cedar - or order them online ahead of time.)  For the avid anglers in search of the "big one", there are many fishing charters available that will take you out on Lake Michigan.

And don't forget to bring your water toys ... we have moorings available on the north side of the dock to accommodate everything from canoes to pontoon boats.
